What It’s About:

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Call Your Mother is a 90-minute special in which the comedians you know and love take the time to acknowledge the ways in which their mothers have influenced their lives and, arguably more importantly, their comedy. How heartwarming. You can check out the official trailer here.

When & Where You Can Watch It:

Call Your Mother airs on May 10 at 10 p.m. ET on CTV Comedy Channel. If you miss the special or simply want to re-watch it (maybe with your own mother), you can stream it on ctvcomedy.ca or the CTV Comedy Channel App starting May 11.

Who’s In It:

Basically every comedian you’ve ever heard of. OK, not really, but there are a ton of people in this thing, including Louie Anderson, Awkwafina, Jimmy Carr, Bridget Everett, Fortune Feimster, Rachel Feinstein, Judah Friedlander, Jim Gaffigan, Judy Gold, Jen Kirkman, Jo Koy, Bobby Lee, The Lucas Brothers, Norm Macdonald, Jim Norton, Tig Notaro, Insecure’s Yvonne Orji, Kristen Schaal, David Spade and The Daily Show’s Roy Wood Jr.

Why You Should Watch It:

Because watching people who poke fun at things for a living actually be sincere for a couple hours is actually really entertaining, in a slightly unsettling sort of a way. And because it’s a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day with your own mom/family/chosen family, even if you’re not able to celebrate together physically
