Comedy lovers everywhere, listen up! As you may or may not have already heard, The Comedy Network will officially become CTV Comedy Channel on September 12. A flashy new name! A snazzy new logo! It’s all very exciting! But what does all of this mean?

First of all, you won’t be losing any of the shows you already know and love, on-air or online. The Daily Show, Corner Gas Animated, and Lights Out with David Spade are all here to stay (though negotiating clown Al Capone’s contract was, admittedly, more difficult than we thought).

And that’s not all---you’ll actually be getting more shows and specials by the time September 12 comes around, including Good Talk with Anthony Jeselnik, Season 3B of The Jim Jefferies Show and, of course, the Roast of Alec Baldwin. In Good Talk, Jeselnik---known for his show The Jeselnik Offensive and for his prolific roasting abilities---interviews six of his comedian friends about a variety of topics (including but not limited to how Jeselnik managed to get himself back on television). As usual, Jim Jefferies will be back to break down current socio-political issues in a way that only an angry Australian with an alliterative name can. And finally, 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live star Alec Baldwin will be subject to ridicule from Robert De Niro, Debra Messing, Caitlyn Jenner and others when the Roast of Alec Baldwin airs on September 15. Plus, you’ll get a chance to rummage around the roast vault and watch 10 of Comedy Central’s previous roasts online from September 9 to 22.

Get your first taste of CTV Comedy Channel here, and come back on September 12 to check out our fancy schmancy new website.
