) will be performing stand-up for one night only, so be there or be square.

We know The Daily Shows Trevor Noah will be taking the stage, but now it’s also been revealed that The Daily Show senior correspondent Ronny Chieng will be returning to JFL after being named one of Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch in 2016 and appearing in the critically-acclaimed summer blockbuster Crazy Rich Asians. He will be performing his latest show, Tone Issues, in Montreal for not one but three nights, from July 23 to 25 at 9:30 p.m.

And if any ladies have been worried that the government is trying to send you back to the Middle Ages (you know what I’m talking about, just take a look south of the border), the Helen Hayes award-winning production She the People will be roasting the patriarchy from July 22 to 27.

While we’re on the topic of empowering women, Margaret Trudeau—who is a Canadian icon, international mental health advocate, and mother of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

If you were at JFL in 2015 and couldn’t get enough of Jeff Ross’ ultimate roasting competition, you’re in luck this year. The four-night elimination-style, winner-takes-all battle is happening July 24 to 27 at 11:59 p.m., and the Roastmaster himself will be taking the wheel.

And last but certainly not least, the inimitable Jon Dore will be hosting this year's iteration of The Stand-Up Show, helmed in 2018 by the great Katherine Ryan, from July 25 through to July 27, 2019 at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Don’t have the JFL dates saved in your calendars already? Get your pens out, because we’re not repeating ourselves: JFL Montreal runs from July 10 to July 28.
