Trevor Noah and Jim Jeffries won’t be the only ones hitting up Just For Laughs Montreal this July.
Earlier today, JFL officially announced that Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness, The Daily Show’s Hasan Minhaj, and legendary Canadian comic Howie Mandel will all be hosting their own galas at this summer’s festival. On July 24 at 8 p.m., Mandel will once again host JFL’s annual All-Star Comedy Gala---and bring with him a group of comics inevitably deserving of our love and attention. Two days after that, on July 26 at 9:45 p.m., Minhaj (a former White House Correspondents' Dinner host and the mind behind the titular Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj) will host his own gala in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts. And two days after that, Van Ness---Gay of Thrones host, Getting Curious podcaster, and intrepid Fab Five member---will take the stage along with a slate of to-be-announced comics on Sunday, July 28 at 9 p.m.
And the announcements don’t stop there. In her first JFL Montreal stop since 2012, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Rachel Bloom will be performing not one, not two, but five shows this summer, on July 22, 23, 24, 26, and 27. Crashings Elon Gold & Modi will also be performing for several nights, from July 22 to July 25, comedian/musician Vir Das will perform on July 25, and Australian comic Celeste Barber (of #CelesteChallengeAccepted fame) will perform at JFL Montreal for the very first time on July 24.

Last but not least, Marc Evan Jackson and Paul F. Tompkins (a.k.a. the best dressed comedic duo of our time) will present 'Mr. Jackson and Mr. Tompkins: A Two-Gentleman Improv Show' on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at 9:30 p.m. in Cinquième Salle at Place des Arts.

JFL Montreal runs from July 10 to July 28.
