Growing up, my dad hated Richard Dreyfuss. He could never fully articulate why, at least without offending  our young ears, but whenever Dreyfuss’ raisin face would appear on our television screen he would made some snide remark along the lines of “Oh I can’t stand that Richard Dreyfuss”.
I doubt this aversion ever escaped the walls of our suburban bungalow, which is a shame because actors need a reality check sometimes and old Dick Dreyfuss probably spent  the pre-Internet age walking around Hollywood, shame-free. If my dad had access to Twitter back then, he would’ve had the opportunity to voice his displeasure to the world and maybe, just maybe had his tweet read by Dreyfuss himself on Jimmy Kimmel Live's now legendary Mean Tweets segment. A lucky bunch of un-famous tweeters lived this very fantasy last night when in the latest edition, popular actors of past, present and future read scathing reviews of themselves out loud for the world to hear.
If you’ve ever wanted to see the likes of Christoph Waltz, Patricia Arquette, George Clooney, Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne, Susan Sarandon, Kevin Costner, Emily Blunt, Zach Galifianakis, Kevin Hart, Cate Blanchett, Seth Rogen, Oscar Isaac, Taraji P. Henson, Sean Penn and yes father, Richard Dreyfuss, be taken down a peg then please sit back and enjoy the ride:
