The Daily Show has hired a new correspondent, Saturday Night Live writer and stand-up Michael Che. It’s been a huge couple of years for Che, with a spot on Variety’s 10 comics to watch in 2013, being the first stand-up to perform on Late Night with Seth Meyers, a gala set on Just For Laughs: All Access and an upcoming special as part of Comedy Central’s Half Hour series. Variety is reporting that he’ll start work on the show in June, which feels way farther away than it actually is because somehow it’s still basically winter outside.
